Open Networked Learning–Beginnings
This blogg will serve as a place for professional and personal reflection on theoretical and practical ways in which collaborative learning can be facilitated.
Why write a blogg?
I have to admit that this is precisely what I have wondered before starting this course. It does not come naturally to me to pour my thoughts out in an open forum such as this one, but I am a firm believer in the effectiveness of peer review. So, after some reflection on the genre of blogg writing, I have to admit that this is likely the quickest and most effective way of sharing my ideas about teaching with colleagues and receiving feedback from them.
I look forward to sharing thoughts and ideas with you here and even more so to your comments and thoughts about those.
Until soon,
LM
I am so glad you have braved this first step into blogging your thoughts and using this space as a reflective tool and a means in garnering ideas and feedback from your peers and colleagues. What is important to note that this is not just about writing about your own learning but also a means for you to synthesise what others have learnt and to reflect on that within your blog. Then when people post and comment you are able to engage further on this learning and reflection.
I remember my first step into this space, and it was very daunting….so know that you are not alone in thinking this way :-)…I do hope you enjoy this and reap the benefits of your blog and what it truly means to be a blogger! 🙂

Thank you for the encouragement 🙂 The first step is always the hardest, and I agree that this could be viewed as one large peer review session in which reflection on other peoples’ work is equally as important.

Hi there! Thank you for your honesty in your reflections and sharing your doubts! I completely agree that blogging is probably the quickest and most effective way of sharing my ideas about teaching with colleagues and receiving feedback from them. If that is the goal, I guess it is good to combine it with some networking. I wrote some more about in my blog post: http://jorg.pareigis.se/2/2019/10/07/onl192-reflections-from-a-course-organizer/
Have fun!
